Fashion Trade Fair Review: @marginlondon

Online PR UK was happy to be representing @marginlondon  the longest running independent fashion trade event in London which is renowned for providing a successful launchpad for directional new designers, alongside credible established brands.

We were head tweeters and got to meet all the lovely exhibitors and get a first hand squiz at all their wears. #privileged.

It is in it’s 11th year and this Februarys event was no exception. Ran by the formidably passionate Odysseas Constantine, who’s utter devotion to introducing New Brands & Fresh Designers has flourished since 2002.

Set in an intimate showroom exhibition in a white gallery space in the heart of Central London, and the only location in the UK where buyers and press can discover new & emerging design talent has established credible brands such as OBEY

, and Gravis

. Margin also can lay claim to providing the successful trade platform for many brands including 1 in a 100

If you are a new brand needing a jumpstart into the Fashion Industry, this should be your first stop. You should know that spaces are limited to appropriate brands only that have a directional edge and something new to offer. At larger events where mainstream brands take centre-stage and priority, new labels can often be an opportunity missed.

Margin has welcomed key stores to the exhibitions since first launching, from department stores, such as Bentalls, Harrods

, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, Liberty, House of Fraser, Psyche, Fenwick, El Corte Ingles, Galleries Lafayette, & Engelhorn Trendhaus; online players like ASOS, My-Wardrobe, Frontline, and

.

Margin has also welcomed numerous stylists and fashion editors from magazines including Vogue, Wad, Super Super, Elle, Wallpaper, Arena, i-D, FHM, Esquire, Cosmopolitan, Vice, Amelia’s, DJ, Flux, WWD, Drapers, Sportswear International, and Sport & Street; as well as contributors fromdirectional blogs such as BNTL, Coolhunting, Hypequest, Slamxhype, Selectism, Hideyourarms, and Hypebeast. For a full List of Previous Exhibitors +
