Grammy award winning Steve Smith (Dirty Vegas) will be gracing the underground London for an exclusive gig this summer.
South East London born Smith flies back to his roots from the US to perform an acoustic set at the pop-up urban space #onblackheathbeach, sponsored by OnBlackheath Festival and John Lewis at The Conservatoire, Blackheath. He will play a set of old and new tunes on the beach to an auspicious and exclusive guest list on Friday 25th July 2014.
Dirty Vegas have been named by Billboard, as the number 6 best selling electronic artists of the decade with hits such as “Days Go By“, which gained mainstream popularity in a 2003 and was the sound of the Mitsubishi Eclipse television commercial.
Whether it’s performing at one of the world’s most famous festivals or playing a small acoustic set, Steve has done them all. As a triple Grammy nominee and award winner, he has composed for TV and film, remixed platinum selling artists like Madonna, Calvin Harris and Justin Timberlake and has toured the four corners of the globe, playing at Glastonbury, Coachella, Roskilde and Fuji Rock.
